Policies

Cancellations:

  • Complete refund is given if a class is cancelled or filled.
  • A $5 cancellation fee plus direct expenses (materials, transportation, ticket, and/or other class costs) will be charged if participants cancel a class within five working days and up to 24 hours prior to class.
  • Classes canceled less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded.
  • For Project Challenge ticketed events such as plays and sporting events/games, refunds will not be issued if a class participant requests a cancellation once the registration deadline has passed (if one is indicated in the class description). 

Financial Assistance:

To participate in Community Education classes, assistance is given to District 742 residents, if needed. Verification required.

Eligible UCare members may receive an allowance to spend toward community education classes. Members must have UCare insurance at the time of registration. Limits and restrictions may apply. Please contact Community Education for more information at 320-370-8200.

Late Pick-Ups:

A late fee will be charged for late pick-ups ($5/15 min.) payable at the time of pick-up.
 

School Closings:

If school closes during the day due to bad weather, Community Education will cancel all activities. Announcements are broadcast over local radio stations. Learn more about District Weather Announcements.
