Volunteer Services

St. Cloud Area School District 742 is committed to partnering with community volunteers, to help personalize instruction and enrich curriculum for all learners. District 742 offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups 14 years of age and older.

The Volunteer Program is designed to focus on improving academic outcomes for students in our schools. Volunteers serve as adult role models to students while encouraging them to do well in school. There is no experience necessary to become a volunteer in education!

Volunteers are an important example and resource. They:

  • Demonstrate that our community values children and education
  • Encourage students to do their best
  • Show the importance of service to others
  • Support the work of teachers and staff

All volunteers are asked to complete a Volunteer Information Form, Criminal Background Check and attend Volunteer Orientation. Field trip and special event volunteers are not required to complete orientation.
